The prep work on its own. Nail holes, cracks and dents patched and sanded flush, gaps caulked, and every repair primed — whether we are painting afterwards or you are. Most finishes that fail early did not fail in the paint; they failed in the surface underneath it.
Our Process
Walk & Assess
We go over the surfaces with you and identify what actually needs work — holes, cracks, dents, failed caulk, bare or glossy patches that will reject paint.
Patch & Sand
Nail holes, cracks and dents are filled and sanded flush, so a light held along the wall shows a flat plane rather than a map of repairs.
Caulk & Seal
Gaps at trim, baseboards, frames and corners are caulked so the line between surfaces reads as one clean joint.
Prime
Primer over every repair and any bare or problem area, so the topcoat — ours or your own painter's — goes on to an even, sealed surface.
Written Estimate Before We Start
Pedro Alberto Ortiz comes out, looks at the actual surfaces and puts a clear written price in front of you. No work begins until you have approved it.
